Banjo calls the tune
Brian O'Connell limbered up for the ride on Dunguib at Galway tomorrow when he guided Banjo Davis to a length success in the New Extension At Wexford Racecourse Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
In front over two furlongs out, the 14/1 chance kept on well to hold off the closing Lonesome Dove
Winning trainer, Kevin O'Donnell said: "I thought her ground was gone but she handled it well. She might go for a maiden hurdle now. She is from the family of Klairon Davis, so she's bred to be a two mile chaser. She is for sale. We have a yard full of well-bred horses and they are all for sale."
