Aidan O'Brien's A Year To Remember made all to win on his second start in the McMahon's Supporting Limerick Community Games Maiden at Limerick today, scoring under the trainer's son Joseph O'Brien.
The son of Galileo broke smartly and stayed on well in the closing stages to hold off the challenge of 5/4 favourite Almanaara which had to be switched a furlong out, by half a length.
Afterwards Joseph O'Brien stated "he was very green first time and 'jumped' slow. He jumped much quicker today and I was able to get a nice position. He'll stay further and handled that ground fairly well but there's no reason he won't handle better."
