Aidan O'Brien added a second win, to Excelebration's Group 1 win at Ascot, when his Twilight Zone ran out the comfortable winner of the Coolmore Rip Van Winkle Maiden at Cork today.
Twilight Zone's jockey Kevin Manning was recording his second winner for the Ballydoyle maestro in recent weeks and had little concerns once the son of Danehill Dancer went clear over a furlong out. At the line the winner held a two and a half lengths lead over Alazeya
Manning briefly reported “he did that well and I'm very pleased with that.”
