There was a double on the evening at Tipperary for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien when Squire's Tale landed the concluding Buy Tickets Online @TipperaryRaces.ie Maiden. Bid Adieu a big priced outsider, ran a huge race on debut for Jonathan Fogarty, but he eventually had to yield to the Ballydoyle Galileo previous second placer, by half a length.
The earlier O'Brien victor was Sizzling in the 6.25, and she's a year younger full sister to Squire's Tale (by Galileo out of Weekend Strike).
"He is tough and stays well and he obviously took more time (than sister Sizzling) to come but he stays," said the winning trainer.
"He'll get further than that and was staying on well at the finish. He is a trip horse and the distance is what he wants."
