Ballyadam Brook produced another game front running performance to win the Croom House Stud Handicap at Listowel today, scoring a seventh career win for trainer Terence O'Brien.
Ridden by Rory Cleary, the ten year old gelding battled gamely in the closing stages to hold the challenge of Hisaabaat by a short head.
O'Brien later stated “he has been a great servant and he now won seven races for us. He won a novice hurdle here at the festival a number of years ago but he has been wrong for nearly three years.
“If he gets a clear run, he's a decent horse and we seem to be able to keep him sound now. We'll give him an entry in the Ulster Derby now.”
