- Back Of The Pack now 2 from 2 over fences
Back Of The Pack now 2 from 2 over fences
Back Of The Pack a Tramore winner last time, stepped-up sufficiently to land the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Novice Chase, prevailing by the minimum margin and she then survived a steward's enquiry.
Mick Darcy 's winner, crossed Sebadee before the last but the rider of the runner-up (Eddie O'Connell) never had to stop riding and it was no surprise when the result was confirmed.
Successful trainer Colin Kidd said: "She is as tough as they come. She deserves a crack at black-type now and there is a Grade 3 mares novice chase for her in Clonmel.
"She likes good ground, with a little bit of an ease but not heavy. Hopefully she'll have the ground to suit in Clonmel. She won in Tramore from Lets Go Sunshine and he won in Downpatrick yesterday so she had the form."
