The Dermot McLoughlin trained Avellino readily landed the concluding Bet With the Tote (Pro/Am) Bumper at Down Royal today, completing a double on the day for amateur jockey Noel McParlan.
Afterwards McLoughlin stated “we've always liked her and he (Noel McParlan) said she did it very easily. She travels and travels.
"She's a very uncomplicated filly and I think she would be a nicer filly on better ground. She was impressive on that ground as I was worried about the ground as she's only a four-year-old.
When asked if she could be a Cheltenham horse he replied: "she's going that sort of way."
