Danny Mullins sits second in the Jockeys Championship and completed a double for his uncle Champion Trainer Willie Mullins today, steering Authorized Art (6/4f) to win Killarney's M.L. Lynch Civil Engineering Novice Chase.
The pair were earlier successful over hurdles with Finest Evermore and doubled up with impressive 11 lengths winner Authorized Art, which made all for an easy win to move the rider to 24 wins this term.
The younger Mullins later stated “I had ridden him over hurdles and he was always a fantastic jumper but lacked tactical speed. The scope he shows over fences gives him new strengths and hopefully he will keep building on it.”
