Asthuria joined her stable companions Demi Sang and Next Destination as Naas winners today, with her success for Willie Mullins in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase.
Barry Geraghty rode Demi Sang for J P McManus, but on Asthuria Paul Townend was doubling his score after his feature race win on Next Destination.
Three to one on shot Asthuria made all, and though she tended to jump right, she was untroubled to account for Golden Flowerpower by fifteen lengths.
"I think the Opera Hat back here is the next mares chase. It's an open race but that might be what we do with her," said Mullins.
"She enjoys her jumping and likes to get on with the job. Paul thought he was going to do that today and he did it.
"He gave her a breather across the bottom and she quickened up nicely again. Hopefully she'll go and improve again from that run. She obviously needed the run the last day."
