Trainer Seamus Neville recorded his second winner in four days when his Ask Nile under Brian Hayes, made a winning chase debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase at Killarney today.
The son of Ask arrived to challenge after the second last fence and on the run-in went clear for a four and three parts of a length win over Gwencily Berbas
Afterwards Co Wexford based Neville, also successful with Cahirconree at Tipperary on Thursday, said “chasing is his (Ask Nile) game and is something to go on with. Good ground would probably suit him better but he has won on heavy ground in the past.
“He’ll get a small break now but I’m considering running him at Galway although he won’t run throughout the summer.”
