Apt Manor makes it third time lucky
Apt Manor didn't let odds-on backers down in the concluding Harney's Of Dunhill Flat Race as she prevailed by three lengths under Patrick Mullins at Tramore.
Runner-up at the Galway Festival in 2009 and again this year, the victorious daughter of Craigsteel led about three furlongs out and she only needed to be pushed out to comfortably beat Dancing Bird
Winning trainer Willie Mullins said of the 2/5 shot: "She did what the form book suggested she would. She'll go for a maiden hurdle now."
