Apprentice title race continues at Navan
The apprentice title race has added plenty of spice to the concluding stages of the Flat season and, with Joseph O'Brien on the sidelines through suspension, Ben Curtis and Gary Carroll both have opportunities at Navan this afternoon to further their claims.
Curtis is currently just one ahead of his two rivals, and has a full book of eight rides at the Co. Meath venue this afternoon with Zaralanta and White Diamond among those with sound claims.
Reigning champion Carroll is fighting hard to retain his crown, and the Willie Mullins-trained Wee Giant looks his best chance of a winner in the concluding 1m5f handicap.
