Apprentice jockey Gavin Ryan scored a fourth career win at Fairyhouse today as he steered Truffles to make all the running and score a second course win in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Handicap.
The Sheila Lavery trained four year old filly, a daughter of Canford Cliffs, won a maiden at the Co Meath venue in September 2016 and while unsuccessful in the interim, today made all and kept Enjoy Life rsquo;s challenge at bay in the closing stages for a length and a quarter win.
Seventeen year old Ryan’s previous winner was on Mearu for his employer Jim Bolger, at Naas on October 15.
