Jessica Harrington registered yet another two-year-old winner when Nope and Shane Foley made most of the running to land the Kilminfoyle House Stud Irish EBF Maiden at Fairyhouse. The daughter of No Nay Never built on a promising debut sixth at Naas to score by a length and three-quarters from Royal Dornoch who wandered a little under pressure, with Lady Timmy Ho third on her first start another half a length away.
“She ran well in Naas and it was an education,” said Harrington.
“She reared coming out of the stalls but she was still quick away and she did it well.
“Shane said he got a bit of a breather into her turning in and she ran to the line.
“She's a nice filly and I think she's probably a six furlong filly, whether she'll get seven I don't know.”
