Another flawless display from Paene Magnus

Champion Apprentice Jockey Ronan Whelan partnered his 29th winner of the season aboard the front-running Paene Magnus in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap at Dundalk this evening.
A course and distance winner last time Paene Magnus was badly drawn in 13 but Whelan soon had the son of Teofilo in front. Whelan kept the winner up to his work in the closing stages for a two and three parts of a length win over Core Element
Winning trainer Jim Bolger was not present.
