Another Graded Victory for Walsh/Mullins
Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins added another Graded win to their tally when winning The Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Grade 2 Novice Hurdle with 13/8 favourite Kempes for owners Three Cheers Syndicate.
Winning trainer Mullins said afterwards, "It's great he got his jumping back together today. We decided to slot him in at the back and let him get into rhythm. I thought Dundrum had stolen it but once Ruby [Walsh] switched him out he quickened up nicely. We'll keep him to the minimum trip and head to Punchestown next with him."
Mullins also said of Hurricane Fly, "He's back doing fast work but he won't go to Punchestown if the ground is riding fast I don't want to risk it with him."
