Anoosou takes last for Doyle
The concluding race on today’s card, the Most Appropriately Dressed Competition Friday 20th Flat Race was claimed by the Liz Doyle trained Anoosou
Mikey Fogarty sent the 16/1 shot to the front over a furlong and a half out and kept on strongly to hold off Red Tiger and Patrick Mullins by a length and a quarter.
Barry Murphy who was representing the winning trainer said afterwards: “He’s a bit of enigma and he can be temperamental.”
“We’ve always thought a lot of him, he fell the last day at Wexford and we’ve just taken our time with him.”
