Ano Syra goes one better for favourite backers

Ano Syra confirmed the promise on her previous two outings at this venue when making all to justify favouritism in the Dundalk Stadium Maiden.
The Johnny Feane-trained filly filled the runner-up spot on both outings here this winter and was sent off the evens favourite against just four rivals.
Kevin Manning kept it simple from the front and the daughter of Kodiac stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to beat Obtain by a-length-and-three-quarters.
The pair stretched a further four-and-a-quarter-lengths clear of Calibrachoa in third.
Manning said, “It's a good start back. It was very straight-forward and she did it well.
“She had two good runs and obviously she's kept progressing from run to run.”
