Anna springs suprise in Limerick opener
Rory Anna caused a bit of a shock in the opening juvenile hurdle at Limerick today when running out a convincing winner.
4/7 favourite Point Of Light was to the fore throughout but had no answer when Kevin Coleman's mount cruised to the front before the last.
The John Walsh-trained 20/1 shot stayed on strongly in the closing stages to record a four-length success over Are You The One
"She was working well and likes that ground. She wants goodish ground although not too firm," said Walsh.
"We'll pick a winners race or a handicap for her next. We'll have a look and see.
"She won a couple on the Flat and has a bit of speed. She could go back on the Flat again."
