Paul Townend’s only ride of the day at Tramore proved to be a winning one as Andalusa took the Three Ireland Rated Novice Chase.
Building on her debut over fences at this venue last month, the successful grey did it well from the front but the outcome was in the balance when the challenging Mystery Stowaway departed two out.
The market-leader ahead of the Willie Mullins-trained victor, was unfortunately fatally injured in the fall.
Andalusa then went on to score by sixteen lengths from Ballyegan Hero
"I was actually delighted with her jumping here the last day and dropping back in trip today we were just going to let her gallop along in front,” explained Townend.
"I got off her the last day and thought if we came back in trip we could make more use of her jumping and it worked.
"It was coming down to jumping as we were fairly quickening up approaching the second last.
“I thought I had her covered (Mystery Stowaway), I felt I was getting the better of the argument. It's nice for her to win again."
