All gold for Silver in Dial-A-Bet Chase
The Willie Mullins' trained Golden Silver produced a fine display of jumping to land the Grade 1 Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown in the hands of Paul Townend.
Golden Silver made most of the running until passed briefly by the favourite Tranquil Sea on the turn for home, but the Violet O'Leary owned gelding was back in front jumping the final fence and ran out a comfortable 3 1/2 lengths winner.
Willie Mullins said: "Paul felt he travelled better in this ground today which was a bit of a surprise as we had considered him something of a mudlark. He is a horse that is improving all the time and we will make an entry for him in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham."
