Flying Visit's wanderings captured beautifully - Kevin Manning up top

Flying Visit won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Listowel but not before giving odds-on backers a late scare.
Supported from 5/6 into 4/7, Kevin Manning’s mount, on start number six, made all.
In a race that in 2019 went to subsequent Irish Derby hero, Santiago, the mile event was again run on testing terrain.
Jim Bolger 's Flying Visit went through it well. He did veer badly to his right from over a furlong out though, ending up on the stand’s rail.
Once getting there the Pride Of Dubai juvenile ran on well to beat Dha Leath by six lengths.
Coolcullen representative Una Manning said: “It was uncharacteristic of him and he must have just put his eye on something. Once he got over to the rail on the stands’ side he was fine.
“The boss said he’ll probably give him a break now as he’s had a few quick runs and see where he goes from there.
“It’s great that we are racing today and well done to everyone who worked hard to get the meeting on.”
