Alevander Leaving and Mark Walsh ping the last

The J.P. McManus owned Alexander Leaving justified 2/1 favouritism to win the Midland Breeders Supporting Kilbeggan Beginners Chase at Kilbeggan today for trainer Henrry De Bromhead and jockey Mark Walsh.
De Bromhead was registering his second winner in as many days but wasn't present for today's success and McManus' racing manager Frank Berry later commented “that was grand, he jumped grand and goes on that ground.
“He'll probably go handicapping now and Mark said he jumped very well and that helped. It wasn't a great race but he did it nicely and we're delighted with him.”
