Runner-up in two of her three starts prior to the Tote Now Online At Tote.ie Fillies Maiden, Alalcance (10/3) made no mistake on her fourth outing when scoring in the hands of Nathan Crosse.
Kirsten Rausing's homebred daughter of Mastercraftsman tracked the leaders before moving up to join the front rank on the home turn. Ridden to lead 2f out, the grey was soon driven clear and stayed on well to beat Time To Tell by four lengths.
Winning trainer Jessica Harrington said: "She was only just touched off in Bellewstown and this galloping track suited much better. She’s a lovely big filly and will be a lovely four-year-old.
“I thought Joseph’s one (Time To Tell) was going better at the two-furlong pole but she found plenty and quickened up well on that ground. It’s nice to get that one in the bag.
“She’s in the sales so we’ll have to see what happens.”
