Adore too strong for Listed rivals

My Eyes Adore You produced a fine front-running performance to land the RFL Steels Stakes at Naas this afternoon.
Andrew Slattery bounced out to lead on the Profitable filly in the Listed contest, over just shy of six furlongs, and she had her rivals at work passing the two pole.
The 11/2 shot stayed on strongly in the closing stages to post a convincing four-length winner over Amazon Lady who had chased her throughout.
My Eyes Adore You was making a deserved breakthrough at stakes level having been placed twice at Listed level in the past.
Slattery said:- “She’s been knocking on the door, and she didn’t have her stablemate Aussie Girl to beat today (fourth behind her last time).
“It’s good that she’s got her chance today and she’s well up to that level.
“It was very straightforward, and I didn’t see another rival after the start. She has a high cruising speed and today we got it easy - she could float away and was happy.”
