Vanessa Maye almost judged things to perfection on long-time leader Out On Friday (20/1) in division one of the Thank You To All Frontline Workers Handicap but her mount was just collared in the last few strides as Rock On Seamie (18/1), switched late to the far rail, got up to score by a neck.

Monday’s Roscommon winner Tashman (3/1 fav) had every chance and finished just another neck away in third well clear of the rest.

The winner had won over course and distance on similar ground, and off the same mark, in April 2019 but certainly leading National Hunt conditional O’Keeffe’s 5lb claim on the Flat was crucial to the outcome.

Winning owner/trainer Ray Hackett said: "It worked out great and Darragh gave him a fantastic ride.

"He wasn't seeing out 1m4f last year but I might step him up again as he seems a bit stronger this year.

"We might look at running him in the Apprentice Derby.

"We will be busy away for the summer, as long as the horses aren't balloted out."
