After winning the third on He's Our Music, Colin Keane doubled up in the last, the Dundalk Stadium On Facebook 3yo Maiden, as he partnered Snow Scene to victory for his boss Ger Lyons.
The daughter of Singspiel, who finished seventh, fourth and third on her first three starts, was sent off at 8/1 chance this evening.
Having chased the leaders in the early stages, she improved to dispute the lead and was ridden from two furlongs out.
She narrowly led from a furlong out, and she stayed on well under pressure from there to score by half a length.
Speed Dream, who was sent off the 13/8 favourite, finished second under Kevin Manning for Paul Hickey, while Lean And Keen was a short head back in third under Declan McDonogh for Sean Byrne at 7/1.
Ger Lyons said afterwards: “It is a poignant winner, before he died Peter Gibbons asked me to trainer her. I’m delighted as her owners (Peter's wife Ann is part owner) as they have been very patient with her.
"She is a big backward filly. The plan was to run here at the first available opportunity and then put her away.
"She needs all the time she can get. Colin was very good on her."
Lyons went on to congratulate Connor King, who is virtually assured of winning the apprentice title now, he said: "Well done to Connor, they are two exceptional apprentices and Colin lost nothing in defeat."
