58/1 Punchestown treble for Elliott and Russell
Gordon Elliott

"He's a grand honest horse and he'll win plenty of races," was Gordon Elliott's assessment after Veneer Of Charm brought up a treble for himself and Davy Russell at Punchestown.
Veneer Of Charm, a capable recruit from the Flat, started off well over flights in this Festival Hospitality On Sale 3-y-o Maiden Hurdle.
Adding to the earlier Elliott and Russell gains with Monbeg Notorious and Robin Des Mana Veneer Of Charm was patiently ridden before coming through for a three parts of a length win over Les Arceaux
"He's a horse that will mix and match it between the Flat and jumps. He'll definitely win plenty with a bit of luck," added Elliott.
