51/1 Fairyhouse double for Burke
Cool Warrior and Jonathan Burke clear the last

Jonathan Burke continued his sizzling run with a 51/1 double at Fairyhouse, completed when the veteran Cool Warrior ran away with the Sponsor A Race At Fairyhouse Call 018256167 Handicap Chase.
Burke, earlier successful from the front on A Sizing Network a four-year-old, in the maiden hurdle, took his time on Peter Lawler and John Robinson's thirteen-year-old Cool Warrior, as Kilmurry Kid set a sound pace, clear from the front.
The victorious 12/1 chance only had Heavenly Brook and the last two fences to contend with in the straight and there were soon no worries as he strode home all of fourteen lengths to the good.
"As a thirteen-year-old I'm only five years older than him!" exclaimed Burke.
He then explained: "I rode him once – in the Conyngham Cup – as an amateur. I got a great ride off him – he knows his way around all these tracks.
"They went very quick there and I took my time and he seemed to like it. He jumped his way into it and he won as he liked.
"It's fair going. He's probably been racing since he was four and it's a long old life. He's after plenty of runs.
"He had a good run in Galway two runs back. He was only beaten four lengths behind Baby Whizz and that was good enough to win today if he produced it and he did." (EM)
