Young Sean Corby came in for high praise from James Lambe after his win on Bertimont at Leopardstown last Sunday and the teen was again seen to advantage on Catwilldo winner of the iRadio Race Night Simon Stakes Apprentice Handicap at Dundalk.
Corby was patient on Garvan Donnelly's One Cool Cat filly and he brought her with her challenge down the other in the final two furlongs.
In the end the victorious four-year-old short headed her old rival, the well-backed favourite Strategic Heights with three parts of a length back to Chiclet in third.
Donnelly stated: "She's very game and always runs her race. I don't think she's ever been out of the first three here.
"The young lad is good value and gave her a good ride. I told him to take his time and that she'd come home well." (AM & EM)
