3rd time lucky for Tillahow
The ex-Joe Murphy trained Tillahow a 2,100 Euro yearling at Goresbridge back in 2008 and bought by Gigginstown House Stud for 70,000 guineas at Tattersalls last October, got the better of Fearless Falcon by a neck in the Grade 3 Visit Punchestown.com Juvenile Hurdle under Davy Russell.
Third and second on his two previous attempts over timber, Tillahow was backed from 6/1 into 9/2 and he got the better of the game favourite Fearless Falcon with Chaperoned finishing best of all in third.
Michael O'Leary was present to see the son of Tillerman score and the winning trainer Mouse Morris said: "He was good today – he left that Limerick form (2nd to Mister Carter who was only 4th here) behind him. He jumped much better here, I have no time for those hurdles (Easyfix) that were in use in Limerick.
"I have no real plans for the horse now."
