Half-an-hour on from their success in the opener with Dancing On A Dream Jessica Harrington and Shane Foley doubled up in the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Bellewstown through 7/1 shot Yulong Voice

Dancing On A Dream had first-time blinkers and in the case of Yulong Voice it was a set of cheek-pieces that were deployed for the initial occasion.

The 39/1 brace was completed with first and second Yulong Voice and Franklin Street finishing off, after pace setters Charlie Bassett (3rd) and Potala Palace (5th) yielded to the ‘finishers.’

“He had a good run around here but he didn't like the Curragh,” said Mrs Harrington.

“He was on the outside all the way up the Curragh and Shane couldn't get him to go at all.

“That's why we put the cheek-pieces on him and it probably helped him that they went very hard early on. He got time to get himself going.

“He took a while to get going and then he's won well at the end. He stayed well and he couldn't even pull him up.

“He's probably going to end up a mile-and-a-half horse. It's nice to have a winner for Mr Zhang.

“We'll see what the handicapper does with him now.”

The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that Sea Breezer trained by Patrick Martin was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Stewards fined Patrick Martin €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(vi).

D. O'Brien, rider of Potala Palace (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount moved badly in the straight.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Sea Breezer trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened badly in the straight.
