Michael Halford made it three for the evening at Dundalk when strong 6/4 favourite Hat Alnasar prevailed in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap. All six races at this stage have now gone to a market leader.
Shane Foley brought Kadra and Indrahar home in front for Halford earlier on, but it was Conor McGovern that guided Hat Alnasar to victory.
He made all for a length and a half win over Red Words
"He loves it around here and Conor gave him a fine ride. He's good value for his 7lb, and I'll be giving him plenty of chances here over the winter," said Halford.
"He likes being in front and gets the mile well."
The money for Tansanite was staying with the layers from the start and the grey finished second last.
F.M. Berry, rider of Pretty Famous trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
