Philip Enright's pair of 9/2 winners at Clonmel made for a brace at combined odds of over 29/1 for the Kerry native. The two-timer was completed by Spare Brakes in the Sporting Press Handicap Chase.
Enright, earlier successful aboard Great Khan for Edward O'Grady, gave Spare Brakes a patient and confident steer in the penultimate event on the card. All The Chimneys was another to shape very much like a winner to the business end here.
However once asked to go about his business, Spare Brakes was over and away from the last quicker than All The Chimneys.
In the end two and a quarter lengths split them, with half a length to Mindsmadeup (4/1 from 13/2 on track and bigger earlier) in third.
"He did it nicely although it wasn't the strongest race and it suited," said Tyner.
"He was exposed until he won his hurdle race so I didn't go back for more and I'll look for another handicap chase next."
Regarding his own recover from a hip injury, he added "I'm walking a step and a half around the house - one on the good leg and a half on the other. For once I'm doing what I'm told and I'll be up to two steps after Friday."
