After their success with Friary Rock earlier, Mouse Morris and Phillip Enright doubled their Sligo score courtesy of Baily Thunder (7/2 joint favourite) in the Foley’s Bar & Off Licence Handicap Hurdle.
Settled behind the leaders, Baily Thunder made a slight mistake at the sixth and he was fourth halfway before progressing into second after three out.
Ridden entering the straight, the six-year-old, shedding his maiden tag at the thirteenth time of asking, challenged at the last.
He got on terms with Fruits Of Glory on the run-in, asserting close home by three parts of a length.
"He'd a good run in Galway and we knew if he brought that run here he'd go close. He toughed it out well," reported Enright.
