Boom To Bust (7s into 9/2) brought up a double for Ger Lyons and Gary Carroll when landing the penultimate race at Naas, the Xeretec Supporting North Kildare Chamber Handicap.
The first-time blinkered son of Big Bad Bob got the better of the first-time cheek-piece wearer, Cnocan Diva by a length and a half. Supporters of Lyons and Carroll were rewarded for the double on their earlier scorer Lightnin Hopkins and Boom To Bust at odds of 21/1.
Shane Lyons, representing his brother Ger, said: "We're delighted to get a winner for Mrs Patino (Anamoine Limited) as she's a great supporter of the yard.
"He’d been working well at home so it's not a surprise. The ground drying out helped him and Gary gave him a good ride, he dictated things from up front." (GC & EM)
