One of the joint favourites in the big field first split of the Navanracecourse.ie Handicap bossed things as Hell Left Loose (4/1) scored under Joe Doyle.
Hell Left Loose’s fellow market-leader Pretty Smart had to settle for sixth whilst up front the Denis Hogan-trained victor beat 33/1 shot Bluepower by a length and three parts.
Doyle tracked the leaders on the Vincent Carroll-owned four-year-old and he was fourth and was pushed along two furlongs out.
Ridden to lead over a furlong out Hell Left Loose kept on well inside the final furlong to seal the win.
“He travelled really well. Five the last day didn't suit him and the bit extra trip today was more up his street,” said Doyle.
“He likes him and hopefully there is another day or two in him.”
C.T. Keane, rider of Seanjohnsilver trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount put his head up suddenly as the gates opened and he was slowly away as a result.
