2 for O'Keeffe at odds of over 26/1

Both divisions of the Ambrex Switchgear Handicap Hurdle at Wexford went to Darragh O'Keeffe. Thirty five minutes on from winning split one on A Nod To Getaway for Paul O'Flynn, he triumphed in the second division for another fellow Corkonian, Mick Winters, aboard Junot
Winning owner David Spratt, another Cork man, is more associated with Flat race success, but here he saw his familiar yellow and green silks carried to a narrow win.
Luckless and long-standing maiden Breagagh dead-heated for second on this occasion. Himself and Fromheretoeternity had to yield to Junot by a neck though.
Coincidentally enough aforementioned Paul O'Flynn also led up this winner, for his fellow handler.
"He ran on the Flat the last day and was only beaten by about 10-lengths," said O'Keeffe.
"The time before that at Cork he made a bad mistake at the last with a circuit to go and still actually ran on well, I thought he'd go close that day.
"It was probably a long time coming and it's nice for the owners. He was after running well in the winter, so he appreciated the slow conditions today and got the job done."
