"Kevin (Manning) said he picked up well and the race panned out perfectly. It's nice to get my first treble," said John Feane after Power Grid topped off a tremendous night for the Hazelwood Stables operator in the concluding Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap at Dundalk.
The hat-trick wasn't half rounded off in style too, as 4/1 joint favourite Power Grid stayed on to lead a furlong out. The Frozen Power gelding then careered away inside the last to put six lengths between himself and Fisherman's Blues
It was a double on the session for Kevin Manning, who'd also been aboard Feane's victor half-an-hour earlier, Secret Existence
Gary Halpin was the man in the plate when Bulgadin Lady set the ball rolling for Curragh-based Feane in the 7.35.
