It's great for Sam to get his first winner,. He's very good value and he's probably a bit more than a 10lb claimer at the moment. He's tidy and rides well. He stumbled and nearly came down, I don't know what happened. He did it well and he's always capable in that class. 10lb off him was a big help. He ran better than the finishing result in Galway last time, he was a bit wide and the race was a bit messy. He's a grand handicapper and it's great to have the likes of him for the apprentices, to get them going.

He was well handicapped on his old form. He's had a few issues, we had to burn his palate and things like that. He had a good run in Leopardstown last Thursday which probably entitled him to be there or thereabouts. I never mind (stall) 14 here because it is nearly half a mile down to the bend. It would be worse if there was a bend coming closer. We are having a good run - I think that is three winners last week and two this week. We will have a good few for Dundalk, a lot of two-year-olds didn't run yet.

After race at Killarney Tue, 16th May, 2023 (1st)
his owner John Moloney is working on an oil rig in Qatar and his wife Liz is at home but was unable to travel. This is their first horse, he has now won three races and this win should get him in to a race at Galway which John should be home for. All along he couldn't run going left-handed because he was hanging but we had him done for kissing spines and I think he is coming back to himself. Hopefully he will continue to progress although the ground wouldn't want to be any quicker. Galway is now the aim so whether or not he'll run between now and then I'm not sure.

He was second to Visualisation here as a three-year-old and it took us a long time to get him back right. We knew he would improve from Leopardstown. We could drop him back to seven or stay at a mile and he likes soft ground.

After race at Dundalk Fri, 19th Mar, 2021 (1st)
he's a very nice horse and he's progressing the whole time. He's just learning his trade and Andrew said he was idling in front. Hopefully we can find another three-year-old handicap. Whatever race comes up he'll be very versatile ground wise. He's very straight forward and uncomplicated. It's a first ever winner for owners Liz and John Moloney so I'm delighted for them. Hopefully they get a good kick out of it.
