After race at Sligo Wed, 15th Sep, 2021 (1st)
that’s a good start to the day. He’s a big strong horse who's eight now and has needed every day of it. He’s matured this year and is a fine leaper of a fence. He’s an imposing horse, he’s 17.1hh and I thought he made the others look very ordinary in the parade ring. I’ll find something for him in Listowel.
John Patrick Ryan
After race at Tramore Sun, 15th Aug, 2021 (1st)
The ground on Friday would have been more to his liking. The edge is probably gone off him now because he is a very big horse, he is 17.2hh. He has had bleeding issues in the past but this year he has been trained out of the field and he has had no issues. We are delighted with him. It was a very unorthodox way of winning, but he won anyway. He had to run today because he ran way above his mark the other day (second to the 128-rated Ya Boy Ya in a conditions event on the second day of the festival). He probably didn't run within twenty pounds of that today but he got the job done. He will go for a handicap chase at Listowel now, we will give a chance after two quick runs.
