Nans View wins Galway nightcap for the Faheys
A winner over 1m2f at the Curragh the previous week, Nans View (11/2) had no problem staying the extra two furlongs of the Benetti Menswear Handicap as she followed up under Ronan Whelan. Mon 28th OctFahey completes quick double with Barrogstown Girl
Having won the first division with Nans View just over half-an-hour earlier, trainer Jarlath Fahey completed a quick double when Barrogstown Girl landed Division ll of the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Handicap at the Curragh. Tue 22nd OctNans View benefits from step up in trip to give McMonagle double
Successful earlier on in the afternoon in the opening maiden, jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle completed a double when guiding Nans View to success in the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Handicap (Div I) at the Curragh. Tue 22nd OctSoft ground proves crucial for Victor's Choice
Victor’s Choice benefitted from an opportunistic ride by Robert Whearty to take the Arthur Guinness Handicap at Galway. Fri 02nd Aug
After race at Galway Mon, 28th Oct, 2024 (1st)
She led a seven furlong maiden up the Curragh until half-a-furlong down so we thought then that she was a mile filly, but we were up in distance recently and in fairness to Dylan Browne McMonagle, he had said to go this distance. She has a blend of both pace and stamina and handles deep ground very very well. She is very tough for a three-year-old and hurdling is now a major option. Unfortunately Sinead couldn't be here today as she is on holidays.

After race at Curragh Tue, 22nd Oct, 2024 (1st)
She's been knocking on the door and finished strongly the last day over a mile,. Dylan said she hit the line well today over the mile-and-a-quarter and she'll probably go a little bit further. She's a nice filly and doing her job, she's at her level. Hopefully she'll improve with experience and it's great to get a day out of her. I think there is a race in Galway over a mile-and-a-half for her. She was second there so we might go back. She's not one for the all-weather as she needs a cut in the ground. If we can get her in before the end of the year she'll run and if not she'll go out until next year.
