Calum gave him a beautiful ride and claiming the 7lb off 12 stone was a big help. They went a good gallop; they were on a nice part of the track and he jumped really well. He likes the track, the trip and gets through that softer ground. He is very versatile, that's his second win of the summer and we'll look for something similar over either fences or hurdles in the next few weeks.

He won this race two years ago and jumped superbly tonight. Killashee (a front-runner) took him off his feet here a month ago and he ran no race but things worked out well today and Daniel King gave him a super ride and is very capable. . He jumped from fence to fence, stays really well and will go to Listowel (September) and Galway (October) next. Conor (son) got a fall in Tramore, where he got a kick, so unfortunately was out since yesterday but is back on Saturday.

I'm delighted for (owner) Michael Dolan, who is from Galway. It was always the plan to try and come here, if possible,. To win in Galway was very special for Michael and I'm thrilled to be able to help him. Conor gave him a lovely ride, he kept it simple. He was nice and handy all the way and kept out to pick the best of the ground. The horse has come of age a bit, in fairness, and it's great to win. He won't run again for at least a month, we'll give him a chance as he's been running away during the summer. Maybe he won't even be seen until after Christmas.

After race at Killarney Fri, 19th Aug, 2022 (1st)
he was very good, was straightforward out in front and kept galloping away to the line. He got in tight to the final two fences but was clever enough over them. Hopefully he can win again in that grade.
