“This guy in fairness to him, he races behind the bridle a little bit but he digs down deep. He done it there today on ground that's the quickest he's ran on.
“He's not going to kick away and win ten lengths. He won his bumper easily enough but he always has to work that little bit regardless of the trip.
“He proved against Abacadabras that he needed to step up from two miles at least. He's proven he can go on any ground, he's no slow by any means, he has a good cruising gear.
“He doesn't lose too much ground when they do quicken. Rachael gave him a great ride that day but he just wasn't man enough and didn't know enough. I'd say if he went two miles again you'd have to make plenty of use of him.”
When asked if the Albert Bartlett would now be on the agenda he added:-
“We'll talk about that. I'd say yes but we'll leave our options open and we'll run the horse in the best race for him.
“We'll talk with Bryan, he's the one that's going to be riding him, so he'll know more than us.”

After race at Punchestown Wed, 28th Oct, 2020 (1st)
I'm relieved. It's our best horse and I wasn't nervous about winning I was nervous about a clean safe round of jumping,. Bryan had been thrilled with his schooling at home and said he jumps like a two-miler and is very fast through the air. It didn't suit early in the race that it was a bit like a handicap and Bryan just started schooling him then. He was delighted with him thereafter and to be honest if he went around with an ass he'd only just do that and only does what he has to. We'll be trying to avoid Envoi Allen and he might come back here in 18 days time for the Florida Pearl Chase. We'll see what happens with Envoi Allen first of all along with the other good novices.

After race at Galway Sat, 26th Oct, 2019 (1st)
I think if it was softer he'd handle it better and while you couldn't call it impressive any of the hurdles he had to jump (three hurdles were bypassed due to low-lying sun) he was foot-perfect at every one. He is from a staying family and is out of a mare Aura About You who won a Listed hurdle and was third at Cheltenham to Quevega. I think he'll stay all day and I think he will improve a good bit from today. If you come out to the better tracks you are going to meet Envoi Allen and a better type of horse and while he was entered at Wexford, I thought the track would be too tight for him. Rachael said he was still immature and we'll see how he comes out of this but he could run in a Graded novice hurdle next. That's Rachael's first winner for me and she is brilliant but I feel sorry for Bryan (Cooper) who unfortunately has no luck at all at the moment.

After race at Naas Sun, 27th Jan, 2019 (1st)
His mother Aura About You was the very same in that she would never show you much at home but she won at 25/1 in a maiden hurdle at Navan,.
