Double up for Smullen at Roscommon
He mightn't have come up to expectations at Leopardstown last time when seventh but back in trip Ashjar benefitted from an excellent Pat Smullen drive in the Property Partners Earley Auctioneers Maiden. The Offaly man was completing a double at Roscommon having landed the first on Jack Naylor. Mon 07th JulSaint Gervais and O'Connor team up well
A big field of 17 went to post for the qualified riders’ maiden in Leopardstown, but Saint Gervais came through to win a shade cosily. Thu 19th JunDown Royal preview

The cheers of favourite backers could be heard as Katie T eased her way to a win in the ladies bumper at Roscommon. Tue 09th Jul
After race at Punchestown Sat, 17th May, 2014 (1st)
I didn't think she was ready, but she loves to jump and she was making ground at every single hurdle. If you look at the form of her bumper I was surprised she was as big as 33/1, and at that price I had to have a few quid on her.
W McCreery
After race at Galway Tue, 10th Sep, 2013 (1st)
My wife and father-in-law bred her but being a chestnut filly we couldn't sell her. This was going to be her last chance in a bumper and Jane stole it on the turn into the straight. I'm not sure about plans. She's only small but jumps well and she might run over a mile and six furlongs on the Flat. She pops out of stalls well.
