She's on a great mark and hopefully she will get a bit of confidence back. We stopped trying to make it with her there the last while. If anything wanted to go mad, we would let them on. She was just getting a bit sick of getting taken on up front. She was second here yesterday and battled and ran a blinder. We'll just tip away with her on the grass. I'm not convinced she won't go on the all-weather. I ran her over six furlongs on the all-weather last year and she ran the year before in a Listed race. Her runs on the all-weather were off a different mark.

She did it nicely, dropping back to seven didn't do her any harm anyway,. I'm delighted with her, after getting pipped last week (headed close home when third here) it's great to get back and get a win. She was able to open them up off the bend a bit. It's a long way up that straight and there is always something coming from behind. She was game, she showed plenty of boot over the seven. Probably the ease in the ground over seven helped. James rides very well, he's very strong and is good at pacing them. I'm not sure where we'll go. I'd love to go down to Galway with her but she has a tendency to lean left and you'd want to be getting a very good draw down the railing.

She's very gutsy. I said to James to make as much use of her as he could, to give her a little breather at the end of the back straight and then just keep stretching away. He gave her a good ride,. She has to be in front, she's a funny filly, if she's in behind she's not that happy. She loves being out in front and battles away. The plan is to go to the Curragh for a €50,000 mile handicap. We might as well have a go at it. James is a great young man and it's great to have him. If he gets the chance he'll do very well. He can do 8-4, he's fairly determined and is looking after his weight.

After race at Limerick Sat, 9th Oct, 2021 (1st)
she doesn't like being mixed up in a bunch and that's why we pop her out in front. We claimed 7lbs off her the last day and I wanted to keep the weight off her again and she was ridden by a good claimer. She is a nice filly, John (McGovern, owner) bought her at a Goffs online sale last November for €4,500 and early on I always thought she'd like a dig in the ground. However when it gets this heavy, you're just hoping they're strong enough for it. She is a big filly and always went well but has a lot of furnishing to do yet. If things went right today, I said we'd have a go at the Birdcatcher (on November Handicap day at Naas, on October 31) and that is now the plan.
