He has been phenomenal and our flagship horse for a bit now. He is the most amazing horse, as he is so tough, loves the job and is so sound. It’s just great. He only ran twice last year. He was fourth at Ascot, which wasn’t a disaster, then he went to Ireland and ran below form, so he stayed in Ireland (at McManus’ Martinstown Stud), plus our horses weren’t A1, so it was best to draw a line through last season. JP just said, ‘you know when you won this race, last February when you sent him home’, and I said, ‘No, you told me he was going home!’. I still think, and nobody else agrees with me except for John Francome, that it was the sun that was the problem the first day he came here, as he ballooned everything going into it but coming away from it he was fine. OK, it didn’t affect the other runners, but it affected him. Barry thinks he could win at any trip, but he is probably best at two and a half. I would have thought we would train him for the Ryanair next season, but that is a long way off.

He's a horse with a future, obviously, but to come back and do what he's done today and win again, I think that's seven wins, he's been busy. He's very good and he can only improve with time, but it's very hard for a juvenile to hold that level of form all season - Philip has done a brilliant job with him. He's still unbeaten over hurdles and the bubble has not been burst yet!. We've had two other Triumph Hurdle winners (Made In Japan and Detroit City) but this one would be the best of them. We need to talk to JP and everybody else to see what the plan will be for next season, but we've plenty of time to do that. He's very adaptable and he's very tough, he just takes it all very well.

He's such a fantastic horse. His jumping overall is mustard. He could win an Arkle or a Champion Hurdle. It's a big relief as he's been favourite all year - it's great when it goes right. He travelled so well, we were so lucky to get him. He could go Champion Hurdle or Arkle next year, we'll have to see. He has run six times and has won them all very easily, so I don't know whether that was a career best. We've not schooled him over fences, but he will be mustard over them. We shouldn't get too bullish, too early. He has a fantastic attitude, is very sound and has got fantastic ability.
