Reports in which Chu Chu Thomas (IRE) was mentioned
Clonmel Chu Chu Thomas' favourite stop
You couldn't exactly say he was convincing for a 6/4 chance but Chu Chu Thomas' superiority at the line wasn't in doubt as he made it back to back course and distance wins at Clonmel in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle under Harley Dunne. Thu 15th NovReview clonmel 1st Nov
Deal Done showed his appreciation for a drop in class and distance by claiming the Wilderness Chase at ClonmelThu 01st Nov
Clonmel Cooper double at over 28/1
An initial quote of 11/2 about Deal Done evaporated into a starting price of 9/4 and Dessie Hughes' charge prevailed in the Wilderness Chase to credit his pilot Bryan Cooper with a double (following the earlier win of Chu Chu Thomas) at Clonmel. Thu 01st NovChu Chu Thomas arrives back at the no.1
Two morning market springers for the Powerstown Demense Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel, filled the first two placings with Chu Chu Thomas accounting for Tyrone Tiger by three lengths. Thu 01st NovChu Chu Thomas steamrolls punters at Cork
Chu Chu Thomas steamrolled punters in the concluding event at Cork this evening, winning the Scarteen Bumper at odds of 33/1. Fri 15th May

He did that well. If he gets decent ground this winter he might collect another one. He didn't really like that ground. I intended to give him just one run over hurdles when he came back (after a lengthy break) and then go chasing. When I saw his rating though we had to give hurdling a go.

After race at Clonmel Thu, 1st Nov, 2012 (1st)
He was in cold storage long enough (off the track for a long time after his bumper win). It doesn't really matter but Bryan said he would have won anyway. I had him backed without Speed Dial and I hadn't backed a horse in three years. When he won his bumper in Cork I was wondering how much I was going to ask for him but I went out the next morning and he had a leg. Thanks bit to God I backed him that day too.

that wasn't a surprise to me and we might try for a maiden hurdle now.
