The success of front-runners continued in the Listed Salsabil Stakes at Navan as Akdarena scored under Davy Moran. Sun 25th AprAkdarena sees it out best
As a daughter of Hernando it wasn't surprising to see Akdarena relish the step-up in distance for the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden and she saw out the mile and one hundred yard trip best to prevail by a neck from Saajidah. Kevin Manning was the successful pilot. Sat 29th Aug
After race at Naas Wed, 12th May, 2010 (1st)
There'll be no decision this evening but she's definately in the mix,. I don't do anything at home with her. She just canters and I try and make sure she is well. She seemed in very good form but you couldn't say she had improved until this evening and it appears she has. It's not often you see a race settled at halfway. The next day will be her big day.
J S Bolger
Sun, 25th Apr, 2010
Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on her and we'll get another opportunity. She'd probably get ten furlongs, she's a nice big filly and will probably go jumping in time. She would also make a lovely brood mare, she has plenty of prospects.
J S Bolger
After race at Navan Sun, 25th Apr, 2010 (1st)
He said she's entered in both Oaks and he'll see how she comes out of this and take it from there,. She stayed and galloped really well and loved the firm ground.
J S Bolger
After race at Galway Sat, 29th Aug, 2009 (1st)
She stayed well and Kevin was very happy with her. She has swished her tail since the day she was broken but she is genuine. She is likely to step-up in grade now and she'll get further.
Ger Flynn, representing J S Bolger
