The two of them ran a blinder but she's been a queen all season,. We sent her to France, and of the team I was probably the one most negative about the trip, and it turned her inside out. You can see her today in the ring, she looks like a mare now, she's after maturing lovely and you'd nearly say she's still improving. Colin was adamant that the Curragh wasn't the place for her so we didn't declare and I thought I had a good substitute in Power Under Me. Once the ground is like that he's going to run his race as he proved there, he ran out of room and we probably cost him third. I live my life by 'what's meant for you won't pass you' and they switched it. Zarinsk's headed poked up again and I'd said 'well it's made for her around here'. We went to France for a Group 2 and we got lucky and they put a Group 2 on beside us, and we're after collecting, so it's fantastic. They boys have copped on to her and they won't give her an easy lead but it just shows that she's maturing and we can ride a race on her, which is great. We've got the best man in the business to do that. It leaves us a lovely option now with the Matron, Champions Weekend is huge. Power Under Me can go for the Boomerang, ground being right and this rain doesn't look like it's going to stop, and Zarinsk can go for the Matron. We have a free shot at it now which is fantastic. We'll talk to the family and Barry will discuss it with them, and I'll do what I'm told, but the ultimate aim would obviously be to go to Ch

She’s a queen and seven furlongs around a bend is made for her. She’s honest out and is holding the yard together this year. She holds an entry in the Matron and it’s all about black type for Juddmonte. I’m delighted for them and their support. She’s not really ground dependant but doesn’t want extremes. She doesn’t want heavy and she doesn’t want firm. She’s very straight forward as you could see there. If you wanted to make a race for her that was it.

She’s honest and is surprisingly light compared to what she looks like. I don’t think ground is any issue to her. That ground is horrible, good ground would be no problem to her. It’s pure heart that keeps her doing that. I’d love her to relax more and help him get it a bit easier. It’s been all about black-type for her and we’ll go Group 2 with the hope that she matures into a horse for here on Champions Weekend. As Colin says, if she is going to be at the very top table it might be over in America.

She’s a lovely honest filly but she hasn’t come in her coat. I’ve been very patient with my fillies and it’s great to start one here this weekend. There is so much improvement in her coat wise and everything, and she’ll be better on nicer ground. She had to do it the hard way which I don’t like doing but when Colin is riding them he has free rein to do what he wants. What she has learned from it we won’t know because she had to do it all on her own but she hit the line strong. I can see buckets of improvement because she is still very much a work in progress. I won’t rush her back, she will tell me. The one thing Colin said is she rides weak so we will bear that in mind.
